The LORD is Near

Psalm 145:18-19
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

God is With Us

There is a recurring theme in the Scriptures, that says that God is near to those who love Him and who serve Him with a sincere heart. One verse says that the LORD looks throughout the whole earth to find people whose hearts are perfect toward Him, to show Himself strong in their behalf.

Our God Saves

This verse in Psalm 145 again affirms that the LORD is near to everyone who calls upon Him with a sincere heart, and reassures us that He will give them what they desire of Him when they ask, and that He will rescue them when they cry out to Him.

Take hope today in the faithfulness of the LORD. Call upon Him in truth and sincerity. He desires to show Himself strong in behalf of those who love Him.
