The Perfect Heart

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

To Show Himself Strong

The LORD desires to show Himself strong in behalf of those who have a right heart toward Him. He is looking throughout the whole earth to find such people. Do His eyes stop on you while He is looking?

A Perfect Heart

What does it mean to have a perfect heart? The Bible says that all things work together for good for those who love God, and who respond to the call of His purposes in their life. That’s what makes a heart perfect toward Him. It’s a heart that loves Him, a heart that continually gives thanks to Him for His goodness, a heart that runs after Him on every day.

His Eyes Run to and fro

If you’re that person, the LORD is looking for you. He desires to show Himself strong on your behalf, to deliver you and to bless you. Tell Him today how much you love Him, give Him thanks for the good things He has done in your life, and run after Him through meditation in the wonderful promises of His word.
