Safety in the LORD

Proverbs 18:10
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

His Name is a Refuge

The name of the LORD represents who He is, what He is about, what He is like, His very nature. And we can take refuge in His name, if we know His nature. His nature is love, and He loves those who call upon His name, and who put their trust in Him.

A Hiding Place

This verse says that the righteous, those who have faith in Him, run into His name, and it is like a strong tower, a fortress of safety that we can run into.

Take refuge in His name today. Spend some time in His word. Fellowship with Him around His promises, and let faith and trust arise in your heart. The righteous run into the name of the LORD, and they are safe.
