He is Faithful

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
(Hebrews 10:23 KJV)

God has never made a promise that He is unable to keep. His faithfulness is not dependent upon our circumstances, our feelings, or even our own faithfulness. It is rooted in His unchanging character. He is faithful because that is who He is.

Every promise given in the Word of God was sent forth into the earth to accomplish something in the lives of anyone who will take hold of them by faith. And every Word of God given to us through His promises has within itself the very power to bring itself to pass. And every promise will come to pass if we will hold fast to them with faith in our hearts.

There are times when God's promises seem slow in coming to pass. During those seasons, we may be tempted to question whether He has forgotten us. Yet Scripture reminds us to "hold fast" without wavering. Our confidence is not in what we see, but in the One who has spoken.

The Bible tells us that Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in his faith during the time he was waiting. The Bible tells us he was fully persuaded that He who had promised was also able to perform it.

Every promise God has made is backed by His integrity. He is not a man, that He sould lie, and He never fails to fulfill His Word. Though His timing does not always fit our timing, it is always perfect.

Whatever promise you are standing on today, refuse to let go of it. Thik about it. Take joy in it as if you already have it. Keep your confidence in the Lord, remembering that He who made the promise is completely faithful to bring it to pass.
