He Will Never Leave You
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
(Hebrews 13:5 KJV)
One of God's greatest promises is that He will never leave those who love Him. There may be times when we feel alone, but our feelings do not change God's presence in our lives. He has promised to remain with us through every season of life, whether we feel like it's true or not. He is ever present.
Because the Lord is always with us, we can appropriate to recognition that by faith and learn to be content in every situation. Contentment is not found in possessing more things. It is found in knowing that the One who supplies everything we need is always by our side. His presence is the most comforting treasure we possess.
God's promise is not limited to the easy days. He is always with us, in the times of joy and in the times of difficulty, in seasons of overflow and in seasons when we just have enough. His faithfulness never changes because He never changes.
For I am the Lord, I change not . . .
(Malachi 3:6 KJV)
Whatever lies before you today, if it's pleasant, be thatnkful, if it's difficult, remember that you are not facing it alone. The Lord is always with you, He will strengthen you, He will provide what you need, and He will faithfully keep every promise He has given us in His Word.
