The LORD Goes Before You

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
(Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV)

There are times when the future seems uncertain and the challenges appear overwhelming. It is during those moments that God's Word repeatedly tells us, "Fear not." He does not ask us to be courageous without first giving us a reason for our courage.

The reason is His presence. The Lord promised Israel that He would go with them, He would be with them, wherever they went. This same assurance belongs to every believer today. We never face our challenges alone, because God has already gone with us.

His promise is simple and powerful: "He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." People may disappoint us, circumstances may change, and our own strength may grow weak, but the Lord remains faithful. He is present in every trial and is sufficient for every need.

As you step into today, do so with confidence. The God who goes before you also walks beside you. Trust Him to lead you, to give you strength and direction, and faithfully help you to accomplish His purpose in your life.
