Nothing Shall Separate Us

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:38-39 KJV)

God's love is not fragile or fickle. It does not rise and fall with our circumstances, nor does it disappear when life becomes difficult. His love is constant because it is founded upon His unchanging nature.

The Apostle Paul thought of every force he could imagine and concluded that nothing has the power to separate the believer from the love of God that is found in Christ Jesus. This gives us confidence to face the uncertainties of life.

When hard times come, we may sometimes wonder if the Lord still loves us. Does He still care? Where is He? Yet His love has not diminished by one bit. He remains just as loving and faithful in the storm as He is in times of peace. His presence and His promises remain solid and secure.

Whatever challenges you may be facing today, rest in the assurance that God's love is still toward you. Nothing in all of creation is able to separate you from the One who loves you with an unchanging love.
